Golf Simulator Under $5,000: 3 Garage Setups That Actually Work
You don't need $15,000 to hit balls at home. Here are three real setups under $5,000, what each one gets you, and where to spend first.
Read the guide →Questions we get a lot
Will a golf simulator fit in my garage?
Most setups need a ceiling of at least 9 ft (10 ft+ lets anyone swing a driver), 10 ft of width (12 ft+ for righties and lefties), and 12 ft of depth (15 ft+ is comfortable). Measure to the lowest obstruction, like a garage door track. Text us your three numbers and we'll tell you what fits. Read the room-size guide.
How much does a home golf simulator cost?
A practice setup with an enclosure, impact screen and hitting mat starts around $1,500 before a launch monitor. Most garage setups land between $4,000 and $6,000, and tour-level bays with a ceiling-mounted launch monitor run $10,000 and up. See the full cost breakdown.
Do I need a projector to start?
No. Many golfers start with an enclosure, a hitting mat and a launch monitor that shows numbers on a phone or tablet, then add a projector later to play full courses on the screen.
How does shipping work?
We ship within the United States from US warehouses. Most orders ship within 1-3 business days. Parcel delivery takes 3-7 business days. Enclosures and large mats ship by freight in 5-14 business days with curbside delivery, and the carrier calls to schedule.
What is your return policy?
Items under $100: email us a photo within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, no return needed. Items $100 and up: contact us within 30 days of delivery for a return authorization; items must be unused and in original packaging. Read the full policy.
Can I get help choosing a setup?
Yes. Use the chat button, text or call (714) 343-7110, or email info@gryngolf.com with your ceiling height, width and depth. We'll recommend an enclosure, mat and launch monitor that fit your room and budget.
